Aspiring to Gandhi’s words of “Be the change you wish to see…”, I use yoga as a tool to guide students to transform their good intentions into positive choices. In support of greater success, happiness and fulfillment in life, I'm committed to the practice of yoga and believe that health and wellbeing are wonderful results of yoga but the actual purpose of it all is to awaken our highest potential as human beings.

With the deepest intention of inspiring others to cultivate personal power, my classes are known for being insightful and challenging. I invoke a balance of intensity and grace into each class providing students with a platform to move beyond their perceived limitations. Cultivating a sense of alert calmness, my teachings are infused with the belief that our greatest teacher is the life we lead and the little things in it that could go unnoticed if we weren’t paying attention.

My classes are inspired by the creative flow of Vinyasa, the astuteness of Ashtanga, and the life-affirming essence of Anusara. Grounded in a supportive and inviting space for every body to experience the benefits of yoga, students will experience creative, mindful movements that build physical strength and flexibility, reduce stress and quiet the mind. Defined as vinyasa krama — a step-by-step approach — sequencing classes in this way together with a focus on breathing, physical alignment, and dynamic movement, I aim to create an inspiring moving meditation that is fun, challenging (yet accessible) and calming leaving you energized and centered long after you’ve left your yoga mat.

With the intention to guide you to shift your life towards establishing greater balance, yoga facilitates the journey of discovering your intrinsic creativity to celebrate and explore the infinite potential of the human spirit. I use the arena of yoga to challenge students to explore their potential on the mat and take that playful curiosity into the rest of their lives to spark a sense that anything and everything is possible . . .
